I haven't been keeping up with Omega and their latest references, but this watch definitely comes in 41mm, and was previously offered in 39mm as the mid-size. I wouldn't suggest anyone with a normal wrist going below 39mm. Reply Reply with quote Oct 30th, 2015 4:17 pm #18 golden Deal Fanatic Jan 15, 2004 5077 posts 282 upvotes Oct 30th, 2015 4:17 pm

37mm is too small for men in today's standard. If it's a classic dress watch, maybe it's ok, but not a sporty watch. Reply Reply with quote Oct 30th, 2015 4:18 pm #19 msaf Newbie Mar 20, 2008 89 posts 88 upvotes Toronto Oct 30th, 2015 4:18 pm

Omega watches are some of the best in the world. They hold their value.
They keep time. Super accurate, only the best components.

Anyone who compares Omega to guess or any other sub-100$ brand obviously doesn't know anything about watches. I can't even begin to describe the differences.. Too many to list.

This is a great deal. 37mm is okay if you dont have hulk-like wrists. smaller dudes could pull it off.... a brand new Omega for that price is hard to beat.

I wear a JLC, so maybe it's the watch lover in me speaking, but this seems like a poor valuE and ugly watch. In that price range there are better watches to be had. FOR SALE:

It really depends on the size of your wrists imo. I've got tiny wrists and most "regular" sized divers look weird on me, whereas my Seiko SKX013 (37-38mm) looks great and is much more comfortable. well my point is (IMO) my guess watch looks better (no offense as I said before but for that price looks wise the Omega watch in question doesn't make the cut)...brand name and workmanship might be the factors for the watch selling at that price

Some guys might be able to pull this off, but I think the 41mm is better for most men. By today's standard, 41mm is the bare minimum for a sport watch. I don't have large wrists, and my 45mm Planet Ocean is just right. I have watches around 47mm, and that's borderline too big for me. But for a dressier watch, I try to keep it below 44mm. For comparison here's what it would typically cost you grey market in USD.

http://www.jomashop.com/omega-watch-21230362001002.html

Costco is also likely grey market like most of their stuff.

If you were to buy from an authorized dealer, take between 15-25% off the retail as a realistic price you would be able to bargain them down to.

Little too small for me, plus I'm a more of a speedy man Reply Reply with quote Oct 30th, 2015 6:07 pm #42 unknownone Sr. Member Mar 31, 2009 972 posts 378 upvotes I've always been tempted by the used Omega's, can get some really nice old ones for lower prices it seems. Is there a specific reason that I wouldn't want a well maintained/restored 50 year old Omega and would instead opt for something new for significantly more money? Seems to me that if you're buying something of extremely high quality, the fact that it's 50 years old shouldn't be much of a negative? Old watches tend to be smaller, but to me that's just a fashion thing and I'm not too concerned with the latest fashion trends as long as I like something.

My knowledge of watches is limited, but I just like nice high quality stuff. So is there a downside to buying well maintained 50 year old Omega from a place like http://watchestobuy.com/ ?
